Australia Pacific LNG Pipelines
This project is one of Australia’s largest coal seam gas (CSG) to liquefied natural gas (LNG) developments. It features a 530 km, 42″” high-grade steel pipeline designed to transport up to 1,560 terajoules of gas per day from the Surat and Bowen Basins to an LNG processing facility on Curtis Island, near Gladstone.
To support this mainline, an additional 150 km of smaller-diameter pipelines (ranging from 18″” to 36″”) was constructed, enabling efficient gas collection and delivery for international export. The engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) scope was executed by the McConnell Dowell/CCC Joint Venture (MCJV), encompassing the complete pipeline system and associated facility infrastructure.
“Through the dedication, commitment and collaboration the Environment Management team from Australia Pacific LNG received an Australia Biosecurity Award.”
