Zafarana 50 MWp PV Plant
As part of Egypt’s ambitious clean energy transition, the Zafarana 50 MWp Photovoltaic Plant stands as a landmark achievement in sustainable infrastructure.
Strategically located in Suez and developed by the New & Renewable Energy Authority (NREA) with support from KFW, this state-of-the-art solar facility was delivered by CCC under a full EPC contract. CCC’s turnkey execution—from design and supply to commissioning and 5-year O&M—demonstrates our unmatched capability in delivering complex, high-impact energy projects. The plant integrates 92,176 high-efficiency PV modules, 12 central inverters, and a 125 MVA AIS substation, all seamlessly connected to the national grid. With over 50,000 tons of CO₂ emissions offset annually, Zafarana is not just a solar plant—it’s a symbol of progress, resilience, and environmental stewardship.
