Lebanon Needs Our Help

The huge explosion of Beirut’s Port has touched and affected the education, housing, food security, and health sector of Lebanon putting further strain on the Lebanese people who have already been suffering from an economic crisis, and battling with the spread of Covid-19 pandemic.

Today in the densely populated city of Beirut about 300,000 people whose homes were badly damaged are displaced, 17 hospitals have been damaged and are un-operational, 120 damaged schools, and 15,000 metric tons of staple food stored in port warehouses was lost, leaving 6 weeks of stock compared to a 3 months standards supply. According to local assessments, as many as 500,000 people need assistance with immediate needs such as food, clothing, medicine and shelter.

To this effect CCC has decided to launch the Lebanon Needs Our Help Campaign, a humanitarian aid campaign to assist the following 4 NGOs who are working tirelessly on the ground to address the above mentioned needs:
