The Batinah Expressway project comprised the construction of an expressway class road 45 km with a dual 2 x 4-lane configuration through the Batinah region. The Batinah Expressway is the westward continuation of the under construction Muscat Expressway which extends from Al-Naseem Garden towards Khatmat-Milahah near the UAE border.
